Other salons may try for toned-down neutrals or soothing blues, but Dashing Diva embraces the brightest, boldest pink décor in their many locations. Pink tiles, pink banquettes, and lots and lots of pink polish are the order of the day. Nails are their specialty, but for the full pampering treatment, they also offer reasonably priced massages for foot or body. They even have services for "little divas" as well.

WHY WE LIKE IT

The fun décor and "girly-girl" salon feel gives a certain permission to let your hair down while getting doted upon. Plus, it's a great place to take a group of girlfriends for whatever reason, whether it be a special occasion or just a midweek primping and pampering. A few drops of essential oil make even the standard manicure treatment feel extra indulgent.

WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

We found that the quality of the service varied a bit by technician, from truly excellent to just ok. Also note that they use a private label nail polish, so while you are always welcome to bring your own, don’t expect to find your essie or OPI favorites here.

GOOD TO KNOW

Walk-ins are permitted, subject to availability. If you're meeting friends for a treatment, make one appointment to ensure that you can all sit together. The store offers events such as "Girls’ Night Out" on Thursday and Friday evenings–pop in for a free Cosmo with any service. Be sure to call ahead to confirm and reserve if you plan to hit the salon during these busy times.
