    VIBE

This hotspot for bread lovers boasts a fun, West Village atmosphere and a wide-ranging menu that's always a delight. Brunch is a particular specialty of theirs, with delicious menu choices to suit a wide range of tastes, so it's great for a group. The old wood-fired ovens downstairs produce a delectably crusty selection of breads (the aromas that waft out will make us salivate), and the main dining room on the ground floor with its large windows provides a welcoming dining experience. There's an air of warm, rustic goodness here that suits its West Village locale.

    CROWD

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

Something casual and comfortable, like a cute sundress or a comfortable tee with jeans and sandals.

    WHY WE LIKE IT

This delicious restaurant boasts a mix of American and French cuisine, including a cheese menu. Brunch is our favorite time to go, especially before a day of heading out to hit the city, but this is also a great late-night dinner place.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

The relatively high dinner menu prices. Not that the food's not sometimes worth it, but still...

    GOOD TO KNOW

Sandwiches are only served during the lunch hour, so if you want one, head there for lunch and save one of the other (also yummy) dishes for a dinner visit (trust us, the sandwiches are delicious!). This is part of the Bromberg brothers’ growing empire of restaurants and bars.
