VIBE
Carnivores are guaranteed to be satisfied at this chic AvroKO-designed American steakhouse. Inspired by traditional New York City butcher shops, it blends the old school (white ceramic tiles, stainless steel, walnut wood finishes) and the new (funky meat hook chandeliers, vintage market scales converted into lighting) to winning effect. The surrounds certainly give a taste of what’s to come: traditional cuts sourced by family butchers are given a modern twist by the former chefs of Lespinasse. The only things that could possibly drag the attention of devoted meat eaters away from succulent dishes like sirloin and roasted bone marrow are the cocktail and charcuterie bars.
CROWD
The expected meat lovers and steak snobs, along with an older crowd of business suits and couples.
WHAT WE WOULD WEAR
Upscale casual; we’d wear a sleek button-down top, pencil skirt, and flashy heels.

WHY WE LIKE IT
Eschewing the masculine vibes of most steakhouses, this restaurant is very polished–great for satisfying your beau without feeling like you’re in an old boys club.
WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE
Since it’s kid-friendly, the space can get a little rowdy at times.
GOOD TO KNOW
Foodies might like to note that the owner of Quality Meats is the son of Alan Stillman, who runs the famous Smith & Wollensky steakhouse chain. If you’re looking for a view, the downstairs dining room offers a glimpse of the massive wine rack.
