    VIBE

This branch of the popular and rapidly growing boutique coffee chain has quickly become a favorite among West Village locals, thanks to the highly prized in-house equipment, which is said to extract twice the amount of espresso from its top-quality beans, resulting in a richer, thicker, creamier brew. Plus, for those ordering milky drinks, the already stellar drinks are topped with unique, eye-catching latte art designs. If you’re lucky, you might be able to score one of the coveted seats by the sunny windows, a great spot for people watching and a warm, comfortable spot to sit and read or work.

    CROWD

Village locals, early risers, and coffee lovers.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

Anything goes; stay comfortable with a slouchy sweater, cute jeans, and your favorite shoes.

    WHY WE LIKE IT

This is truly quality coffee, and the signature latte art is the icing on the…coffee. Some even claim this is the best espresso in the West Village.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

The place is tiny so there’s not much room to linger (which can be a bummer during colder months if you cannot find a seat). And we like our coffee with a side of Wi-Fi, which isn’t available here.

    GOOD TO KNOW

Cash only. Along with its drink options, Joe offers a variety of pastries, muffins, donuts, and coffee cakes (all go great with the hot beverages). That said, come for the coffee, not the snacks.
