    VIBE

Sure B Bar’s neon sign is hard to miss, and the fashion-conscious crowd that packs in is pretty eye-catching, too, but the real showstopper here is the 3,000 square foot garden. Open year round (praise be patio heaters!), it offers one of the best spots in town for getting your alfresco drink on. That said, the spacious, paneled interiors, with their classic New York leather booths and two bustling bars certainly have some chilled out cachet of their own.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

It’s usually jeans-and-a-t-shirt laidback, but we’d go for a more fashion-forward look on weekend evenings.

    GO HERE WITH

Friends - for pre-clubbing drinks or late night snacks; colleagues - for after work pints

    CROWD

While the in-in-crowd has drifted elsewhere, the scene is still pretty young and fashionable.

    WHY WE LIKE IT

It’s a great spot to grab a drink and gather up our friends before heading out on the Lower East Side. And, when the weather’s nice, we like chilling with Bloody Marys over brunch or afternoon snacks in the garden.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

The bouncers can be surly, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

    GOOD TO KNOW

This is also a great spot to hold private parties because there’s tons of space available. Outdoor tables seat max of five guests each.

    CLOSEST COMPS

Biergarten at The Standard (New York); Bar Blu (Beijing)
