This hip Times Square property keeps the fashionable set coming with a swinging lounge, a jazzy restaurant, sexy guestrooms, and, of course, a happening Times Square address. Unlike other W’s around town, the business services here definitely come second to the party scene, though the signature W “Whatever/Whenever” service fills in any gaps.

If you’re in a rush when leaving, try the FareWell Kiosk, where you can quickly check out and print your boarding pass. It’s worth it to upgrade if space is important to you, because the standard rooms are puny. (The Cool Corner and Fabulous Corner rooms are definite picks–the extra windows make the room feel larger, and the views of either Times Square or the Hudson River are killer.) The scene is a bit too adult to make this a kid-friendly property. Pets are welcome (for a fee). Car service available. This hotel is a member of the global W Hotels chain, which belongs to Starwood Hotels (make sure to sign up for their loyalty program if you are staying here–it’s a good one).
